The Office of Lieutenant Governor Leslie Rutledge currently has openings for internships in the Arkansas State Capitol. The internship will provide current students with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the workings of a state constitutional office and knowledge of the legislative process. Space for interns is limited, and all internships are unpaid. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting visitors in the front office, assisting staff with research and writing projects, organizing and distributing mail, and assisting staff at outreach events. Strong writing skills are desired. 

DEADLINES:

Winter / Spring (January – April): December 15
Summer (May – July): April 15
Fall / Winter (August – December): August 15
